Dresser Rehab

Todays project was rehabbing this dresser. I found it sitting under a pile of tables in what the local antique mall calls the 'rough' room aka a room stacked the ceiling with old beaten abused and busted furniture. After it setting in my room for months trying to figure out what to do with it I finally decided to strip it down all the way and white wash the entire thing. All that's left now is to get knobs and lines the drawers.

"Milk Man"

Yay its Friday! I had today off so we all know what that means. PROJECT TIME! This weeks project is the start of my "milk box" project. I found this old milk cooler that is going to look awesome when done. Below are pictures of it right now and what it will look like when done.

The Loft Of My Dreams

So with moving to school almost in full swing I have taken the last couple days to look for housing and jobs for after I finish school just to get an idea of where I want to live. I found this amazing "loft" apartment below and fell in love. Now to finish school and move in. <3

So while on the subject of older homes that need a lot of work I thought I would show off this beauty I found out in the country while driving last weekend. It is definitely a diamond on the rough but it has so much potential and is totally the dream house I have been looking for. It has the big red barn, the covered porch and the huge shed I need. If only if only. The last people to be known to live there moved out sometime in 2006. So setting empty for 8 years it somehow still hasn't
been vandalized. Definitely has potential and the things it would say if walls could talk.

So just surfing the webs for houses for sale as always. I'm nowhere near ready to buy a house but enjoy seeing what's out there anyway. I found theses two beauties.

House #1 built in 1893

House #2 built in 1910

Found a few of these awesome ideas while surfing Pinterest and Google. Thinking a few of these will look awesome in my house once I get it.
